I am working on an interdisciplinary, practice-based-research project in collaboration with residents of a multicultural village in Turuhanskij rajon, Krasnoârskij kraj, in the north of the Russian Federation.  It has to do with memory, landscape, migration, water, fish, and the role of material things in the negotiation of repertoires of cultural and linguistic identity.
